The Hardin County Community Foundation will award $426,000 in grants and scholarships this spring. That represents a $50,000 increase from the $376,000 awarded in 2025. The funds are generated through earnings on the foundation’s assets. The grants to non-profit organizations in the county support programs and projects in the fields of education, youth services, recreation, arts and culture, social services, and civic and community development. The foundation will accept grant applications Feb. 1 through Feb. 28. Application forms are on the foundation’s website, hardinfoundation.org.
